In early 2005, Printgraphics decided it had talked about environmental management long enough and it was time to get serious.
So we took several actions –
- We spoke to like minded people and companies in the trade
- We researched on the Internet
- We read every piece of information and advice available
Our final aim was to be awarded environmental certification of the highest possible level, which is ISO 14001 – Certified Environmental Management (CEM).
It was felt that the path to achieving this was to first gain certification to ISO 9001 – Quality Endorsed Company (QEC). As we have always prided ourselves that our systems were good in achieving customer satisfaction and providing the best quality product and service, we didn’t think this would be too difficult.
On 24th April, 2006, we achieved this certification. We were well on the way!
Certified Environmental Management was our next goal. Printgraphics respects the environment and its responsibilities include investigating methods and systems to reduce the impact on it. The enthusiasm of the staff at Printgraphics has been incredible and so many ideas have come from all areas of the company.
After rigorous auditing by SAI Global, we are proud to announce that we have received their tick of approval and ISO 14001 Certification on 19th April, 2007.
