Printgraphics offset car emissions by planting native trees
As part of Printgraphics continued commitment to the environment, carbon offsets is a project that is currently under investigation. All company fleet vehicles purchased since 2001 are factory fitted with LPG ensuring cleaner greenhouse gas emissions. It is envisaged that a tree planting project will be organised in the future to offset our greenhouse gas emissions and as an interim step to offset our vehicle emissions we have signed up with Greenfleet, an organisation that plants native tree species to offset car emissions. Science shows that 17 mixed species trees will not only absorb a car’s greenhouse emissions, but will also help to tackle salinity, improve water quality and provide essential habitat for native species.
