Printgraphics Wins Printing Industry Top Environmental Award
The inaugural Victorian Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards (PICA) was held at a gala presentation evening on 19th October, 2007 at the Park Hyatt Ballroom.
The highlight of the evening was Printgraphics winning the trophy for the Environmental Award. This award is designed to recognise the efforts of print businesses reducing their impact on the environment as well as educating customers on efficient procurement of print.
It is one thing to claim to be environmentally “green” but proving it to a panel of judges with high environmental credentials as we have done by winning this award, is another thing.
Printgraphics was also awarded “Emerald” awards in two other categories of printing.
The night had a “Hollywood Oscars” theme. The entertainment, dinner and music made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening and Printgraphics would like to thank the PICA committee and all involved for a wonderful night.
