Tree Planting Day
Printgraphics is offsetting its carbon emissions with a tree planting day with family, friends and clients.
Working with an organisation called TreeProject we aim to plant 750 trees in the Mt Macedon area. TreeProject is a non-profit community organisation dedicated to revegetating the Victorian landscape with indigenous trees, shrubs and grasses.
This day not only provides the opportunity to help the environment, it also provides an opportunity to get dirty, breathe some fresh air, have numerous conversations, meet lots of new people and get a great sense of achievement at the end of the day as you look back over the tree guards.
Date: Sunday 25th May, 2008
Starting at 10am
Planting takes approximately 2 - 4 hours with a break - lunch is provided.
Printgraphics supplies the trees, TreeProject supplies tools for the day and ongoing care and maintenance of the trees through to maturity.
A great way to get the kids involved for their future!
